How you ever heard someone talking about copywriting and wondered what they were referring to? Check out this short video to find out what they meant. So what made me record this video was that recently I was at a marketing event and the presenter said that copy was just a fancy way of saying “words”. He’s not totally wrong; copy is words. But that’s not a very fulsome explanation, so let me give you a better definition. Copy is words that are designed to persuade. They’re designed to get people to take action. In a nutshell, copywriting is designed to sell. I recorded the video for you from Grand Central Station in New York. I thought it would be apropos to do so because just like the trains leaving the station, good copywriting will also take you places! (Cheese). If you’re thinking about tackling your copywriting yourself, consider subscribing to my YouTube channel by visiting my YouTube page and hitting the "subscribe" button. If you’re thinking about outsourcing like a pro and hiring someone to help you get the job done, check me out here! Food for thought: do you think the words on your website persuasive? Why or why not? Leave a comment below and I will get back to you.
